As one of the regions with the lowest levels of sports participation in England, the London 2012 Games presents a unique opportunity for the Black Country to encourage people in our region to adopt a more active lifestyle through sport, physical activity and culture.
We will bring together public, private and third sector partners to explore and promote the opportunities London 2012 provides for this, in addition to volunteering, Pre-Games Training Camps and tourism.
